Meview Monday: Milani Lip, Hard Candy Mix In Drops,

Hey Guys! Welcome to Meview Monday! :) So this week I'm going to be reviewing three products for you: Milani Amore Matte liquid lipstick in Obsession, Hard Candy Mix in Pigment Drops, and Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation. Milani's Amore Matte liquid lipstick in Obsession was a major fail for me. It was super patchy and though it is a beautiful color - it was impossible to get even. It was like pushing around product. It retails for $7.97 at Walmart and for me this was a big no. I would recommend the maybelline Super Stay Ink's instead. They are amazing. 1/10. I wish I had something positive to say about this next product. I really do. I can't though. I absolutely hate this product. I'm talking about the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation. It separated so badly on my skin it was embarrassing. It looked okay upon first applying but within the first hour it separated and I can't recommend this to anyone. It retails for $7.94 at walmart and I can...

Tutorial Tuesday: Colourpop She Palette

Image
Hey Guys! So my original plan for this Tutorial Tuesday post was to use the Juvia's Place Saharan Palette that I ordered, however, it hasn't come yet! :( So I will be using the Colourpop She Palette instead since I assume most of you are tired of seeing the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Palette! :) This is the look I came up with... I started by using my Nyx White Primer Pot. 1. Then on a fluffy blending brush I took Duchess into my crease and blended upward. I used Duchess as my transition shade. 2. Then on a different blending brush I took Dear lower in my crease and blended inwards. 3. On a flat packing brush I took Mademoiselle and packed it all over the lid. 4. Then I took Dainty and patted it on the center of my lids. 5. Using a blending brush I took Damsel lower in the crease very concentrated on the outer V and blended it inwards a little. 6. Then I smudged Duchess on my lower lash line and added my Nyx Black Eyeliner on my lower lash line and tightlined my ...

Meview Monday: Rimmel ScandalEyes, Beauty Blender Dupe?, Revlon Bronzer Bricks

Image
Hey Guys! So today I am going to be reviewing the Rimmel ScandalEyes shadow sticks in blackmail and witness white as well as the fusion blending sponge by danielle creations, and also the revlon highlighting palettes in bronze glow and peach glow. First though, I want to mention a product that is a huge no go for me. I tried this in the past and it wasn't my favorite product but now I absolutely can't recommend this to anyone. The product I'm talking about is the Hard Candy 1000 flashes fiberized lash weave mascara. I got the shade divine purple. It's a cute concept but the fibers are super easy to fall into your eyes and this does flake during the day so they will. Also, the color just doesn't show up on my lashes. I am looking to try colored mascaras but this one is a no for me. Do Not Recommend. :( As for the Revlon Highlighting/Bronzing Palettes, both serve more as a bronzer for me than a highlighter. For bronzing, I'm more a fan of the Bronze Glow Pal...

Tutorial Tuesday: Tarte Make Believe In Yourself Palette

Image
Hey Guys! Today I'm going to be doing a tutorial with the Tarte Make Believe in Yourself Palette. I have been really enjoying this palette and hope you enjoy this look! So I used two brushes for this look: My Colourpop blending brush and my flat colourpop brush. 1. I started by laying down my urban decay eye shadow primer potion. 2. Then on the blending brush, I took myth in the crease and blended it up as a transition shade. 3. On my flat brush, I then put the white highlight shade all over the lid. 4. Then, I blended myth inwards on the outer portion of my lid - about half of my lid space. 5. Then I layed down marvel onto the outer portion of the lid, where I just put down myth, with my fluffy blending brush. 6. Then I took the blending brush and added more of myth lower in my crease to deepen up the look. 7. Once done with blending, I took my Rimmel Scandal Eyes Pencil in Blackmail and lined my upper lashes and added my Hard Candy Mascara. This was the final ...

Meview Monday: Coty Airspun Powder, Hard Candy Coconut Water Primer Stick, Milani Conceal and Perfect Foundation, and Blanc Electric Eyes Palette

Hey Guys! So we're in luck this week. I have some amazing products to share with you this Meview Monday! ;) Today I'm going to be reviewing the Hard Candy Coconut Water Primer Stick, the Milani 2-in-1 Conceal and Perfect Foundation, Coty Airspun loose face powder in Honey Beige, and Blinc Electric Eyes Palette. Starting with the Hard Candy Primer Stick... It has a cooling effect which I enjoy and smells pretty good. However, that being said it doesn't make my makeup last much longer than usual. I prefer my benefit porefessional over this but enjoy this as a moisturizer. It retails for $8.00 at Walmart. It comes with 0.42 oz of product and the packaging is adorable. That all being said, it doesn't really fill in my pores and just leaves me wanting more from my primer.  5/10. Now onto the Milani Conceal and Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation. I bought it in the shade 02 originally however, it was way too dark for my skin so I had to return it and I bought 01 Creamy Vanilla. ...

WOW Wednesday: Perfect Palette Tag

Image
Hey Guys! So Today I'm going to be doing the Perfect Palette Tag. I'm gonna be going through my palettes and choosing palettes for each category (top 3 for each one). This one might be a little long so get a snack and a cup of coffee and keep reading :) The categories are: Best Packaging Naked Smoky The packaging is genius. I love the magnetic closure and the see through nature of the palette. It looks elegant but also artistic, which I love.  Tartelette in bloom This one is simply elegant. It has a clasp closure, unlike the other palettes in this category which makes it much safer to travel with which I will talk about later.  ABH Modern Renaissance Palette This palette has a velvet-y feel to it and just looks amazing. I love using this and reach for it because of it's amazing style.  Best Color Payoff ABH Modern Renaissance Palette No Question, ABH rules and has the best shadows in my opinion. They blend like a dream and the colors are amazing. ...

Tutorial Tuesday: Lorac Pro 3 Palette

Image
Hey Guys! So today I'm gonna be showing you a tutorial using the Lorac Pro 3 Palette. Below is how I did the tutorial :) I hope you enjoy it! These are the brushes I used. To begin, I applied my Nyx White Primer. Then, I blended Pink Nude into my crease and blended it with an upward motion towards my brow bone. Next on the black blending brush I took clay and aimed it lower in the crease and blended until it looked smooth. Then took terracotta and blended that on the cleaned black brush above clay. Then, on the Colourpop pink blending brush I took Dk. Mocha and using the flatter side, layed that down onto my lid (Darker/more concentrated on the outer corner. Lighter handed on the inner corner). Then on the flat shader brush I took Lt. Pewter and patted it onto the inner portion of the lid. Using the black blending brush, I took Dk. Brown and placed it very cautiously and specifically onto the outer V of the crease. Then on the sponge end of the sha...

Meview Monday: Mini Review: New Fav Products or Duds?!

Image
Hey Guys! Welcome to Meview Monday (Review Monday ;) So I wanted to give you some updates and mini reviews on some products that I've been trying out. Warning: This round of products is not good. :(  This week I tried out the Yesto tomatoes clear skin acne fighting mask. It claims to get rid of acne and prevent new pimples from forming. I applied it to my face and left it on for 10 minutes. I noticed that it tingled and made my face feel nice and smooth, however it didn't really make a difference in minimizing my acne or preventing more breakouts from forming. Overall, not really effective for my skin. 4/10 because it felt very cleansing and smoothing.  I've been using the Covergirl Ready, Set, Gorgeous Foundation in the shade 105 Classic Ivory. I've used it several times and have noticed that no matter what powder or how I apply it, by the end of the day I notice some separation. I don't enjoy using the foundation and I just feel like it doesn't hav...

Dupe or Meh? Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette vs. Nyx Happy Birthday Palette

Image
Hey Guys, So today I did a dupe challenge with the ABH Modern Renaissance Palette and the Nyx Happy Birthday Palette which I got for my birthday from Ulta. I did one eye with the ABH palette and one eye with the Nyx palette. Before I continue, I want you guys to guess in the comments which eye is which. Once you've done that you can read on. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay, so on the right side is the ABH palette and on the left is the Nyx Palette. The main difference I noticed was that the ABH palette was much more pigmented. I'm loving playing with ABH shadows recently and can't believe I missed out on them for so long. I'm totally in love. If you don't have the ABH Modern Renaissance Palette it's totally worth it. That being said, the Nyx Palette isn't bad quality, it is just harder to blend but is still decently pigmented. I love both ...

It's going to be a little long so hang in there and grab a cup of coffee. I'm going to start by reviewing the items I received in last months Boxy Charm. In Last Months Boxy Charm, amongst other things, I received the Real Her Eyeshadow Palette in I: Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful. I also received the Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Illuminati, and two masks by bioBelle. The Eyeshadow Palette comes with 9 shadows. It is cruelty free, vegan, sulfate free, and parabe...
