WOW Wednesday: Perfect Palette Tag

Hey Guys!

So Today I'm going to be doing the Perfect Palette Tag. I'm gonna be going through my palettes and choosing palettes for each category (top 3 for each one). This one might be a little long so get a snack and a cup of coffee and keep reading :) The categories are:

  1. Best Packaging
    1. Naked Smoky
      1. The packaging is genius. I love the magnetic closure and the see through nature of the palette. It looks elegant but also artistic, which I love.
    2. Tartelette in bloom
      1. This one is simply elegant. It has a clasp closure, unlike the other palettes in this category which makes it much safer to travel with which I will talk about later.
    3. ABH Modern Renaissance Palette
      1. This palette has a velvet-y feel to it and just looks amazing. I love using this and reach for it because of it's amazing style.
  2. Best Color Payoff
    1. ABH Modern Renaissance Palette
      1. No Question, ABH rules and has the best shadows in my opinion. They blend like a dream and the colors are amazing.
    2. Lorac Pro 1
      1. These two will be no surprise. I love them and the color payoff is definitely there. It doesn't take much shadow to get a beautifully pigmented look.
    3. Lorac Pro 2
  3. Most Versatile
    1. Too Faced Natural Love
      1. The amount of shadows in this palette make it impossible for it to be meh. I love the options you get with this. You get both warm tones and cool tones and a good mix of matte and shimmers. In love <3 I used this today and posted the look to my instagram page: chrissielucci13
    2. ABH Modern Renaissance Palette
      1. Again, for the size of the palette you have many color options and this is a great palette to have in your collection.
    3. Too Faced Sweet Peach
      1. Lots of color options and different looks you can get from this. :) <3
  4. Best for Traveling
    1. Lorac Pocket Pro 1
      1. On size alone, this is an amazing palette for travel because it doesn't take up much space and the shadows make a nice neutral look.
    2. Naked 2
      1. This one is sturdy and you get a lot of color options which are nice if you want to do more glam looks.
    3. Tartelette in bloom
      1. This one is the most sturdy because of the clasp closure. If you want a durable palette to travel with, this is the one.
  5. Biggest Regret
    1. Too Faced PB and J
      1. Guys, the shadows in here just aren't the same quality as the too faced chocolate bars. I love the chocolate bars but this palette just sucks. It's like two completely different formulas.
    2. Urban Decay Shadowbox
      1. I just don't reach for this enough to make it worth the money. I don't find myself enjoying this palette when I use it and I just don't enjoy it period.
    3. Lorac Pro 3
      1. I love the formula of most of these shadows but I just don't find myself enjoying the shimmers as much as I do with the Lorac Pro 1 and 2. The mattes are perfectly fine and I do enjoy them but I don't like the shimmers. :(
  6. Best Color Names
    1. The Balmjovi Palette
      1. Come on, the balm has it down. I just love the cuteness of all the shades and the packaging in general.
    2. Too Faced Sweet Peach
      1. Again, this is adorable. How can you not love this?
    3. Too Faced Chocolate Bar
      1. It's a chocolate bar.... so cute and pigmented! Too faced nailed this one. I absolutely love this.
  7. Least Used
    1. MUFE Artist Shadows Palette #2
      1. I don't know what it is but I just don't reach for this. I just depotted all the shadows from this palette and put them into my z palette because I want to get more use out of them. I like the quality but I just don't use it much.
    2. The BalmJovi Palette
      1. I don't think the quality is 100% there with this palette. I like the packaging and the cuteness of it. The blush and highlighter are amazing but the eyeshadows are nothing to write home about. They are more of a satin finish and I enjoy a more metallic, wet look.
    3. Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette
      1. The biggest issue with this is inconsistency. I enjoy this palette but the shimmery shades are flaky and not good. If the shades were more consistent, I would definitely reach for it more.
  8. Most Used
    1. ABH Modern Renaissance
      1. These shadows are amazing. Blendable, pigmented. Just awesome! ABH is my favorite eyeshadow formula hands down.
    2. Lorac Pro 2
      1. Close second. I use this for shows I'm in and always love the look. These mattes blend super well except for the navy shade which is a hot mess, which is why this is second. I use this a ton and have hit pan in a few shades but would use it more if the matte blue was more blendable.
    3. Too Faced Chocolate Bar
      1. <3 I just adore this. It was my second high end palette and I love it so much. It works amazingly and I always love the looks I get from this.
  9. Most Loved
    1. Lorac Pro 2
      1. This was my first highend palette and it made me fall in love with Lorac's formula. I reach for it all the time and am so glad I bought it! A must have!
    2. Lorac Pro 1
      1. Again, the formula is amazing. This has to be my favorite Lorac Pro Palette and I'm so glad I splurged!
    3. Too Faced Semi Sweet Palette
      1. More my shades than the original chocolate bar. I use this all the time and am always happy with how the looks come out. Can't wait to buy the bon bons palette!
  10. Desert Island
    1. Lorac Pro 2
      1. Pigmentation, blendability. Just yes!
    2. ABH Modern Renaissance
      1. Favorite formula, A must have on a deserted island!
    3. Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette
      1. The smell alone is amazing and the shadows are beautiful! I love this and would need it to survive!
I hope you guys enjoyed this tag! If you would like me to do any other tags or are interested in future posts like this or aren't, let me know!
