Tutorial Tuesday: Colourpop She Palette

Hey Guys!

So my original plan for this Tutorial Tuesday post was to use the Juvia's Place Saharan Palette that I ordered, however, it hasn't come yet! :( So I will be using the Colourpop She Palette instead since I assume most of you are tired of seeing the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Palette! :)

This is the look I came up with...


I started by using my Nyx White Primer Pot.

1. Then on a fluffy blending brush I took Duchess into my crease and blended upward. I used Duchess as my transition shade.

2. Then on a different blending brush I took Dear lower in my crease and blended inwards.

3. On a flat packing brush I took Mademoiselle and packed it all over the lid.

4. Then I took Dainty and patted it on the center of my lids.

5. Using a blending brush I took Damsel lower in the crease very concentrated on the outer V and blended it inwards a little.

6. Then I smudged Duchess on my lower lash line and added my Nyx Black Eyeliner on my lower lash line and tightlined my top lash line.

7. Then I curled my lashes and added my Double Decker Mascara.

Hey Guys! So before I start this review I want to let you know that I received my z palettes today and filled them with my shadows. There is still some space in them that I might try to fill with Karity shadows or mac singles. Now onto the review. The palette comes with ten eyeshadows as well as a decently sized mirror. It costs $10 at the drugstore. Unfortunately, the third shade in the palette came popped out. (See Picture) The glue was not holding it in tight so that was kind of underwhelming for me to begin with. I had high hopes for the fourth shade in the palette. It looked like it would be a beautiful crease/transition shade. Unfortunately, it didn't even really show up. I didn't think this would be the same among the darker shades but unfortunately it was. If you see this and think it's a dupe for the naked palette. I would say think again. Meview Monday: Violet Voss Flamingo Palette

Hey Guys! So Today I'm going to be reviewing the Violet Voss Flamingo Palette! It retails for $45 at Sephora and comes with some nice summery shades. I enjoyed the shimmers and the pigmentation however, I found there to be a lack of crease/transition shades. If you click the link below, you'll find a look that I did with this palette and the Pat Mcgrath Labs Sublime Palette. Violet Voss Flamingo Palette Look In order to deepen up my crease, I had to bring in the Pat McGrath Labs Palette. There just aren't enough deep crease shades in the Violet Voss Palette. Is it a bad palette? Definitely Not! But, it's not for someone with only a few eyeshadow palettes. I would recommend it if you have a big stash and have some shades to compliment it. The lid shades are gorgeous but are not enough to make a look on their own. Overall, I'd give the palette 7/10. xoxo Christina
