Meview Monday: Rimmel ScandalEyes, Beauty Blender Dupe?, Revlon Bronzer Bricks

Hey Guys!

So today I am going to be reviewing the Rimmel ScandalEyes shadow sticks in blackmail and witness white as well as the fusion blending sponge by danielle creations, and also the revlon highlighting palettes in bronze glow and peach glow.

First though, I want to mention a product that is a huge no go for me. I tried this in the past and it wasn't my favorite product but now I absolutely can't recommend this to anyone. The product I'm talking about is the Hard Candy 1000 flashes fiberized lash weave mascara. I got the shade divine purple. It's a cute concept but the fibers are super easy to fall into your eyes and this does flake during the day so they will. Also, the color just doesn't show up on my lashes. I am looking to try colored mascaras but this one is a no for me. Do Not Recommend. :(

As for the Revlon Highlighting/Bronzing Palettes, both serve more as a bronzer for me than a highlighter. For bronzing, I'm more a fan of the Bronze Glow Palette, however the Peach glow palette is a pretty blush if you want something light. This is what they swatch like. Peach glow is on the left. Bronze glow on the right.

These are nice, but I feel like for me they don't last all day and my color fades. I will be keeping Bronze glow as I prefer that over Peach glow but I don't hate either. I think they're both beautiful if you want a subtle look. :) 6/10. They retail for $9.99 at Walmart.com however I got mine at Job Lot for $4.00.

Onto the blending sponge by Danielle Creations. I actually found this at Nordstrom Rack however, it retails for $4.49 on Walmart's site. At first glance, the sponge felt very dense. I was not a fan, however, upon using it to apply some of my foundations I fell in love. This is an amazing sponge. It blended out my foundation super well and is something I will use everyday. <3 9/10. It's sponges like this that keep me from buying a real beauty blender.

Lastly, while I was at Walmart I picked up the Rimmel ScandalEyes Shadow Sticks in Witness White and Blackmail. They were $3.97 each. Witness White was a fail for me. It wouldn't stay put on my lid even with a primer and was very uneven and unusable as an inner corner highlight. However, Blackmail lasted longer and went on more even. I enjoy using it for tightlining my upper lash line however it can be a huge mess if you try to line your lower lash line with it so I can't imagine using it on the eyes at all :( I will definitely be getting rid of Witness White but I will be keeping Blackmail for tightlining. 3/10.

I just got a bunch of products that I can't wait to try out for you guys! Check out my Instagram and Twitter if you want to see more looks and things. My Instagram is chrissielucci13 and my twitter is challengelove13
