Mini Reviews Overload! Bronx Colors, Real Her, bioBelle, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and More!

Hey Guys!

I've been accumulating a bunch of new products and have been trying them out. In this post I'm going to be sharing my thoughts with you on the Real Her Be Your Own Kind Of Beauty Eyeshadow Palette, Bronx Colors Macchiato Palette, bioBelle Priming Face Mask as well as their #iwokeuplikethis mask, The Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Illuminati, Flower Beauty Zoom in Mascara, Almay One-Coat Multi-Benefit Mascara, Almay Eye Makeup Remover Pads and the Milani retouch and erase concealer. It's going to be a little long so hang in there and grab a cup of coffee. I'm going to start by reviewing the items I received in last months Boxy Charm.

In Last Months Boxy Charm, amongst other things, I received the Real Her Eyeshadow Palette in I: Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful. I also received the Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Illuminati, and two masks by bioBelle.

The Eyeshadow Palette comes with 9 shadows. It is cruelty free, vegan, sulfate free, and paraben free. 7 of the shadows have a more metallic finish while 2 are matte (Strong and Smart). It does include a matte black in Smart if that's something that's important to you. The Palette comes with a mirror and has a magnetic closure. Now to the nitty gritty: The lighter shades all look the same on the eyes. The top row is beautiful, just not pigmented enough. Strong looks beautiful as a crease shade, however by only having two matte shades in the palette, that just doesn't cut it for me. I need more than a matte brown and black. Looks can become boring with only having those two to throw in the crease. Proud and Courageous are where this palette shines. They look gorgeous, that being said, they are neutral colors that I have in other palettes. The palette is made of material that gets dirty quite easily so if that's something that bothers you, you will not like that. Overall, it's not the first palette I'd reach for but I've also worked with worse. I'd give the palette a 4/10 because of the lack of crease shades and similarity in pigmentation in the top three shades. That's a big issue for me as I feel they could've been different.

The Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Illuminati is beautiful. I absolutely love this product. I've been using it everyday and it's just a blinding highlight :) It pulls off Gold on the face and is very pigmented. You don't need much to get a very bright glow. It lasts throughout the day and I wore it for a performance outside in the heat and it didn't melt off. It lasted and looked gorgeous even after a two hour performance. This is definitely a must have highlighter. 10/10!

In my Boxy Charm, I received two masks by bioBelle. The #primer mask and the #iwokeuplikethis mask. I have very mixed feelings about these masks. I like the concept of the #primer mask but I don't feel like it truly minimized my pores as it claims to. However on the flip side of that coin, I feel like it did brighten my skin and add moisture. I don't feel like it made my makeup last longer though which was a bit disappointing. I don't feel like this one is worth the money. I feel like it's a bit gimmicky. 5/10. However, the #iwokeuplikethis mask did exactly as it claimed to. It brightened my skin and cleared it. My only hangup with this is that it doesn't fit all faces. It awkwardly hangs. 7/10.

Onto the products I purchased separately. The Bronx Colors Macchiato Palette is much smaller than I thought it would be upon purchasing it. Each pan is about the size of a penny. There are 4 mattes, 4 satin-y shades and 1 metallic shade. There are 4.5 g of product in the palette which breaks down to 0.5 g per pan. The palette is $9.99 on Ulta's website. The mattes are very powdery, however they do have decent pigmentation and do work in the crease. The other shades have very little pigmentation to them and are very subtle. I don't enjoy this palette and don't recommend it unless you want to create solely matte looks with a small pop of shimmer. 2/10.

The Flower Beauty Zoom-In Mascara in Intense Black is a good mascara. The mascara wand has three settings which you can change by twisting the black piece at the top of the bottle. It's very similar to the Bare Minerals Lash Domination Mascara, except that the wand is able to change. It made my lashes look longer, however I don't feel like it made them look fuller. It's a good mascara but it's nothing in comparison to my Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara. 7/10.

Another Mascara I've been trying out is the Almay one coat Multi-Benefit. I enjoyed the brush, but not the fall out that happened later in the day. This is the worst mascara that I've ever used. My lashes looked gorgeous originally but the fall out that ended up on my face was awful. Do not recommend this! 1/10.

I've been using the Almay Eye Makeup Remover Pads. I do like the way they take off my makeup but the scent is horrible. It smells like paint and that can't be good for your eyes. I like the way they work, just noticing some irritation due to these. 4/10.

Milani's retouch and erase concealer is awesome! I love this stuff and will most likely repurchase. I have it in the shade 01 fair. I don't like the applicator as it's definitely not sanitary however, the product itself is very brightening and provides a lot of coverage. It covers the redness on my nose with no problem. I really enjoy this product and will continue to use it. I recommend this for covering blemishes and redness! 8/10.

Now to something a little bit different. I purchased an Anastasia Beverly Hills Moon Child Glow Kit in Pennsylvania while on vacation. I purchased it from a gift shop for $19.99. Upon opening it and using it after doing some research I realized it was a fake. The glow I get from this is very subtle and these are not as pigmented as the original. Definitely not worth the $20 I spent on it, however not the worst highlighters I've worked with. 6/10.

I hope you enjoyed these mini reviews. If you want to know anything more about any of these products comment below or pm me and I will do my best to help.

xoxo <3
