Cvs Makeup Shopping :)

Hey Guys! So I just got home from church and on my way home I stopped at cvs. At cvs I found a small stipple brush by e.l.f., the eyeshadow primer by milani, a nyx jumbo eye pencil and a retractable eyeliner by nyx. I will be reviewing these products soon for you guys! Let me know which ones you want me to review :) Thanks :) xoxo Christina <3

Review: Elizabeth Arden All Gone Eye and Lip Makeup Remover

Hey Guys! So, here I'm going to be reviewing the Elizabeth Arden All Gone Eye and Lip Makeup Remover. I have the 1.7 oz size which retails for about $9.00. First, I want to talk about how I applied/used it. I didn't use it on my lips so I can't attest to that but...I poured a bit onto some round cotton pads and then swiped the pads across my lids. Within 3 swipes all of the makeup was off of my lids. I really like this if I want to take makeup off of my eyes (i.e.- eyeshadow or eyeliner). However, that being said the product has an oily consistency so if you don't like the feeling of oil on your face or are prone to severe breakouts, this may not be the product for you. I could see where this product might break someone out if they were prone to breakouts. Another pro of this product was that it didn't sting the eyes and felt soothing almost which was nice. The only other thing I didn't really like about this product is that it only removes eye and lip mak...

My Top 3 Concealers: Undereye, Covering Blemishes, Covering Redness

Hey Guys! So in this post I'm going to tell you guys about my top 3 concealers. #1) Undereye: My favorite undereye concealer is elf's undereye conceal and highlighter duo. The formula is light and thin but it covers the under eye circles very well. How do I apply it? I apply the concealer in an upside triangle shape under my eyes using the doe-foot applicator that comes with it and then I smooth the product under my eyes with my fingers. #2) Blemish Covering: My favorite blemish covering concealer is hard candy's glamoflauge concealer. How do I apply it? Using my mini blending sponge by the creme shop, I apply a bit of concealer on and around the blemishes and dab using the thicker/fatter end of the sponge. #3) Redness Covering: My favorite redness covering concealer is maybelline's master conceal concealer. How do I apply it? Again, using my mini blending sponge by the creme shop, I apply a bit of concealer on the red area and dab using the thicker/...

Review: The Creme Shop Mini Blending Sponge's

Hey Guys! So today I'm reviewing the Creme Shop's mini blending sponges for you. I got mine in a pack of three at tj maxx for $7.99. I use these sponges for small areas around my eyes and for covering blemishes with my hard candy glamoflauge concealer. When you wet these sponges, like the micro mini beauty blender sponges expand and grow. They work great for applying under eye concealer but I have found that when I'm using them for covering blemishes that they cover the blemishes great but cause some streaking with the concealer. I also use them to cover redness spots on my face, and again it works great for covering the actual redness but I find that it causes streaking on my face and I sometimes have to blend it out with my fingers. Overall, for applying undereye concealer to hide dark circles this is a great product! I would definitely recommend it for that purpose. But, for anything else it tends to be a bit streaky so you may need to blend out the product another...

Impromptu Post: New Covergirl Mascara

Hey guys! So, I had to post this because I just tried out my covergirl supersizer mascara that I just bought today and I'm in love. Lately I've been using the Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara by Tarte and for the price, this one beats it easily! :) Seriously, I love this mascara. The wand is thin but manages to provide both volume and length. The fact that the wand is thin also allows for easier application so that the mascara gets only on your lashes instead of where you don't want it (i.e.- your just done perfect eyeshadow/eyelid). I will be trying this mascara out for the next few days and I will post a full review a week from now. But if you see this on sale or in your walmart... Pick it up! :) xoxo Christina <3

My Next Post

Hey Guys! So my next post is gonna be a review on the creme shop's mini blending sponges. I'm gonna be posting a little more sparcely now since I am going back to school on monday. I will be posting from now on about every other day or once every three days. Let me know what you guys want to see on this blog! Shoot me an e-mail :) lucci.faith@gmail.com Thanks for reading guys! :) xoxo

Review: In the Nude and Lightly Toasted Palettes by W7 Cosmetics

Hey Guys! So today I have two palettes that I'm going to review: The In the Nude palette and the Lightly toasted palette. They retail for $8.00 on amazon. The In the Nude palette reminds me of the Naked 3 palette. It is not an exact dupe mind you but it is still a great option for a cheaper price. I bought my In the Nude Palette at TJ Maxx for $6.99. That is a great deal for the amount of shadow you get and considering you get a brush as well. You get 12 eyeshadows. The shadows aren't the softest but for the price the palette is usable. I really like all of the shades except the first two. The first shade in the palette is a light beige color. It would be nice for someone with a darker skin tone but for me it just doesn't show up. The second shade is a light sparkly pink with a lot of shimmer/sparkles. That level of sparkle allows the shadow to crease which isn't always something you want. The other shades in the palette are nice and pigmented pretty well. They ar...

Foundations: Drugstore Gems

Hey Guys! So as you probably guessed from the title, this entry is going to be about foundations. As of right now I don't really have that perfect holy grail foundation. I've been bouncing around these three for a long time and I just wanted to share my opinion on them with you guys. :) The first foundation I'm going to be talking about is the covergirl outlast stay fabulous 3 in 1 foundation. The formula is lightweight and very creamy. It is a nice liquid foundation, however it isn't quite as full coverage as it boasts. As someone with acne problems I can attest to wanting a full coverage foundation and this foundation fails to give me that :( For someone who doesn't need to cover blemishes this may be a great foundation but for me it just isn't enough coverage. This product retails for $9.00 at walmart and is rather on the higher drugstore side for foundation. Ideal Skin Type: Dry to Normal The second foundation that I'm going to be talking about i...

Product Review: Beauty Blush Duo in Rose Gold by Pixi

Image
Hey Guys! :)  So in my February ipsy bag one of the products I received was the Beauty Blush Duo in Rose Gold by Pixi.  Below are some pictures of the product and swatches that I took. I am also wearing the blush today and have been wearing it for a few days now so that I can give a complete review.  Originally when I got this product I was really happy because I don't usually receive blushes in my ipsy bags. That being said, this product doesn't have very much pigmentation at all and was kind of a disappointment. I received a pixi eye shadow duo in my January bag and noticed that the pigmentation in that wasn't that great either but I was hoping it was just a one time thing. Unfortunately it wasn't. Below are some swatches of the blushes.  I think these blushes would be more effective for someone with darker skin. I'm pretty light skinned so these blushes didn't really want to show up on me as you can see in the swatches. I was expecting the...

Mascaras: Dream or Dud?

Hey Guys, So this time I want to talk about mascaras. In my time of using makeup I've accumulated a lot of them. I want to talk about my top three mascaras and two mascaras I didn't exactly fall in love with. I am going to discuss both high end and drug store mascaras. So my #1 mascara has to be my tarte lights, camera, lashes mascara. It does a great job extending the lashes as well as making them look fuller. This mascara is my dream mascara. I bought it at ulta during a sale and scored it for $10. It was definitely worth it and if I run out I will definitely repurchase it. This mascara retails at $21. You can buy it at Sephora, Ulta or from Tarte on their website. My #2 mascara is the covergirl professional mascara in very black. It has a curved wand and does a really nice job curling, and extending the lashes. This mascara doesn't really "fill in" your lashes so to say. It extends and curls the lashes but that is about it. My lashes are pretty thick natu...

New Makeup Blog!

Hey Guys, So I've been thinking about doing this for a long time but have never gotten around to it.
