Review: In the Nude and Lightly Toasted Palettes by W7 Cosmetics
Hey Guys!
So today I have two palettes that I'm going to review: The In the Nude palette and the Lightly toasted palette. They retail for $8.00 on amazon.
The In the Nude palette reminds me of the Naked 3 palette. It is not an exact dupe mind you but it is still a great option for a cheaper price. I bought my In the Nude Palette at TJ Maxx for $6.99. That is a great deal for the amount of shadow you get and considering you get a brush as well. You get 12 eyeshadows.
The shadows aren't the softest but for the price the palette is usable. I really like all of the shades except the first two. The first shade in the palette is a light beige color. It would be nice for someone with a darker skin tone but for me it just doesn't show up. The second shade is a light sparkly pink with a lot of shimmer/sparkles. That level of sparkle allows the shadow to crease which isn't always something you want. The other shades in the palette are nice and pigmented pretty well. They aren't as pigmented as the original naked palettes probably but for $6.99 the palette is worth it.
The Lightly Toasted palette is my pick. I really like this one. There are two matte shadows and ten sparklier shadows. That being said, the shiny shadows are not creasing and are really nice. They, like the In the Nude palette however, I should mention, are not as soft as they could be. I really don't have anything negative to say about this palette though. If you see it, you should definitely pick it up and try it out.
Overall, both of these palettes are great and definitely worth the $6.99. On a normal day, if they hadn't been on sale I don't know if I would have picked up the in the nude palette but I would definitely recommend picking up the Lightly Toasted palette regardless.
Thank you guys for reading!
