Review: Elizabeth Arden All Gone Eye and Lip Makeup Remover
Hey Guys!
So, here I'm going to be reviewing the Elizabeth Arden All Gone Eye and Lip Makeup Remover. I have the 1.7 oz size which retails for about $9.00.
First, I want to talk about how I applied/used it. I didn't use it on my lips so I can't attest to that but...I poured a bit onto some round cotton pads and then swiped the pads across my lids. Within 3 swipes all of the makeup was off of my lids. I really like this if I want to take makeup off of my eyes (i.e.- eyeshadow or eyeliner). However, that being said the product has an oily consistency so if you don't like the feeling of oil on your face or are prone to severe breakouts, this may not be the product for you. I could see where this product might break someone out if they were prone to breakouts.
Another pro of this product was that it didn't sting the eyes and felt soothing almost which was nice. The only other thing I didn't really like about this product is that it only removes eye and lip makeup. That could be kind of frustrating if you are in a hurry as you might want to have an all in one product. It also may not be particularly cost effective. If you want a product that is an all in one product for this type of thing I would recommend the e.l.f. makeup remover cleansing cloths which come in a pack of 20 cloths and retail for $3. They are good for removing both foundation, concealer, and eye/lip makeup. With these it is a bit more of a process to get your eye makeup off but for $3, it is an all in one product which is awesome! :)
Overall, the Elizabeth Arden All Gone Eye and Lip Makeup Remover is a good product to remove eye makeup but for a cheaper and more affordable option that has all in one capacity I would recommend the e.l.f. makeup remover cleansing cloths before I would recommend this product. :)
