Review: Wet and Wild Megawear Mascara

So the other day I decided to take a trip to my local dollar tree and while I was there I found the Wet and Wild Megawear Mascara in Very black. If you buy this mascara at walmart it retails for $2.93 so it was cool to find it at the dollar tree for $1.

I have actually never tried any of the wet and wild mascaras before so I figured I would try it out for you and review it to see if it's worth trying. For $2.93, that's still pretty cheap for a mascara compared to $6.99 or $7.99. So I figured I would let you guys know how it worked.

The mascara's formula is patchy if you swatch it out on your hand. It comes off thick in places and then in other places it comes off as if you never put mascara on in the first place. I think this could be attributed to the wand though. On the eyes, the formula is thick and clumpy. It made my lashes look almost like a spider web. They stuck together and when I put my nyx waterproof coat over the top the lashes wouldn't come apart and were stuck together. Below is a picture of how it came out.

For me, I don't know if this is the best mascara. It is definitely one I won't reach for right away but if I'm in a pinch it does work. Overall, I'd say this mascara would get 2 stars because it's clumpy but it's affordable so it has that going for it at least.... :(
