Review: Covergirl Advanced Radiance Foundation

Hey Guys!

So I've been testing out the Covergirl Advanced Radiance Foundation in the shade 105 Ivory. I bought it at walmart for $10. It has SPF 10 in it.

The foundation has pretty good coverage. It isn't perfect but compared to most other foundations it is good. I apply it with my real techniques sponge. It seems to cover most acne scars and skin unevenness. The consistency is neither thin nor extremely thick. It kinda smells like cucumber?? I think. I don't really know. It comes in a pump tube which I really like because it doesn't take much to get the product out.

Overall, for a foundation, this works great. I don't really have a negative for this product besides the fact that it isn't complete coverage. I like the smell, and the way it covers. I love that it comes in a pump tube. For me, it's a 8/10. It is a great foundation and if you see this, you should definitely pick it up.

Hey Guys! So before I start this review I want to let you know that I received my z palettes today and filled them with my shadows. There is still some space in them that I might try to fill with Karity shadows or mac singles. Now onto the review. The palette comes with ten eyeshadows as well as a decently sized mirror. It costs $10 at the drugstore. Unfortunately, the third shade in the palette came popped out. (See Picture) The glue was not holding it in tight so that was kind of underwhelming for me to begin with. I had high hopes for the fourth shade in the palette. It looked like it would be a beautiful crease/transition shade. Unfortunately, it didn't even really show up. I didn't think this would be the same among the darker shades but unfortunately it was. If you see this and think it's a dupe for the naked palette. I would say think again. Meview Monday: Violet Voss Flamingo Palette

Hey Guys! So Today I'm going to be reviewing the Violet Voss Flamingo Palette! It retails for $45 at Sephora and comes with some nice summery shades. I enjoyed the shimmers and the pigmentation however, I found there to be a lack of crease/transition shades. If you click the link below, you'll find a look that I did with this palette and the Pat Mcgrath Labs Sublime Palette. Violet Voss Flamingo Palette Look In order to deepen up my crease, I had to bring in the Pat McGrath Labs Palette. There just aren't enough deep crease shades in the Violet Voss Palette. Is it a bad palette? Definitely Not! But, it's not for someone with only a few eyeshadow palettes. I would recommend it if you have a big stash and have some shades to compliment it. The lid shades are gorgeous but are not enough to make a look on their own. Overall, I'd give the palette 7/10. xoxo Christina
